This application is still in beta testing, the first version will be available later this year.
The goal of this application is to facilitate the realization of videos for teaching and learning. This application allows teachers to create their own videos by drawing on a digital blackboard.
Guixa simulates a blackboard and records the process of drawing as well as the audio in order to complete the explanation of the drawings. The resulting file can be exported as a video file with audio or as an audio file, thus facilitating the sharing among the students.
The UOC has designed and developed the Guixa application to enhance elements such as:
• To increase the relationship between teachers and students through a closer format than text.
• To offer more digital formats to enhance the teaching and learning experiences-
• To find a way to make the learning processes easier and enriching.
